sorry to resurect another old thread but im not having any joy identifying this symbol Ive had No 5 and 6 come up as in jcs356's post but cant make out what the symbol in the centers supposed to denote . OOOOH THATS A BIGGUN !! Anyone else seen this ? A6 avantTdi

But after some thought, the time it takes to register the temp change dose seem to be a bit quick for the engine to be actually changing temperature. unless of course they make these audi things with very efficient cooling systems ??

Did you get to the bottom of this problem, gtiboy ? i noticed mine do the same today only did'nt tie it in with the climate control

eventually found a very nice A6 2.5 tdi auto estate. needs a few little jobs doing but nothing the wife cant cope with.
