Awesome! Thanks for the update. £400 for the exhaust work is pretty decent actually. Didn't get a chance to speak to my local exhaust place today but will probably try again during the week or something! You going ahead with the work then?
Oh awesome! I tried contacting the Southampton branch a couple times but had no response. I'm going to my local custom exhaust garage on Saturday to see how much the custom route is.. will also let you know how it goes!
Have also just found that the Scorpion exhausts (one I was most leaning towards) are only for FWD A4's.. not Quattro's like mine so I guess I'll be going custom..
Hopefully someone can help us then! I just don’t know whether custom would be better than the likes of Scorpion etc.. interested to hear other’s thoughts
Hey,
So I’m looking to get a new exhaust for my 09 2.0tfsi Quattro A4 as the current noise is just too quiet. I’ve been reading up on what’s out there but haven’t really found much on what’s recommended.
I’ve found that Jetex will do a half system (resonated as I don’t want boy racer loud) for...
...wow. So happy I got it mapped! Car pulls so much harder in every gear yet equally my mpg on the daily commute has gone up 4-5mpg! Mental.
Happy I went with Mapro Tuning, Matt really knew his stuff and talked me through the whole process, definitely recommend having it done if you’re considering!
Definitely will, excited to get it done, not had a car mapped before.
Quoted gains compared to stock are:
208bhp / 258lbft torque (Stock)
262bhp / 312lbft (performance map)
No dyno included though so taking those figures with a pinch of salt. Should still pull like a train after!
Not sure why this was moved here as it’s not A4 specific, it’s more recommendations of a good remap in Hampshire.. but anyway, currently talking to Mapro in Portsmouth who again use Viezu but have great reviews if anyone’s dealt with them..?
Hey,
Looking to map my 09 A4 2.0Tfsi (I'm in Hampshire) and have a few questions..
-Found a local place which seem to be offering decent gains for £200 (AM Tuning - using Viezu) has anyone used these or can anyone recommend somewhere better? Revo is £499, Bluefin is £365.. what's the reason...
