S3 - Dodgy Rear Suspension Noises...

Typically, it's been better so far today. I still think it's worth mentioning to my dealers when I get chance to call over. The more I hear it, the more I think its top mount/ARB related. Cheers

S3 - Dodgy Rear Suspension Noises...

Yeah I think it could be the rear top mounts to be honest. Didn't know the 8V was known for them to creak though...

S3 - Dodgy Rear Suspension Noises...

Well that didn't cure it - looks like it's a trip to the dealers :(

S3 - Dodgy Rear Suspension Noises...

Top tip! I'll give that a try. At first I thought it was a bit of lose trim in the boot - maybe the panel where the tool kit is but I've secured everything I can see. If slamming the bench doesn't do the trick then it'll be a trip to the dealers. Cheers

S3 - Dodgy Rear Suspension Noises...

Hey all, I've got a 16 plate S3 that's just had its first birthday and has done 8k miles. It's developed a lovely creaking noise from the rear drivers side whenever the road surface changes or I drive over a bump of any size. Starting to do my head in! Has anyone else had this with their S3...

6,000 Miles in and coolant on min. Should I be worried?

Cheers guys - sounds like there's no reason to panic then, which is good! I'll pop into Audi and get a bottle of coolant :) Cheers

6,000 Miles in and coolant on min. Should I be worried?

Checked my oil yesterday on my S3 and noticed that the coolant was sitting on the min line. It was bought in March and has just covered 6,000 miles. I've never noticed the coolant move until now. Should I be worried? Ok to top it up with tap water? Cheers

    LED Interior Lights

Noticed that the standard bulbs in my S3 are pretty dim and was wondering if anyone has tried these - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-A3-8v-Full-LED-Interior-7pcs-Ultra-Bright-5730-SMD-Bulbs-White-Error-Free-/162078170680?fits=Car+Make%3AAudi&hash=item25bc9c9e38:g:1qQAAOSwLnBX2iUG ? Are they...

    New S3 - bumped already!

Nightmare! I feel your pain. The bumpers aren't as expensive as you'd expect if you know a decent bodyshop. **** happens at end of day!

    New S3 - bumped already!

No problem. Was around £650.00. Not cheap but it's spot on - if you didn't know it had been replaced, you wouldn't know. The guy who did it is well renowned it the VAG world and is a really nice fella.

    New S3 - bumped already!

Another update - she's back! Really impressed with the job - you'd never know that it had been bumped, thankfully. Now just to make sure it stays looking this good :) Big thanks to CJR bodyshop - I'd recommend them to anyone local to West Yorkshire.

    New S3 - bumped already!

Just to update, the car has gone to the bodyshop today. It's having a new rear bumper fitted and the light that I bought will be fitted at the same time. She should be good as new when I collect on Wednesday. It turned out the bumper was actually creased when closely inspected, hence why I...

    New S3 - bumped already!

Thanks. I may change it if I get time over the weekend - if not, it's no big deal as the damage to the bumper is much more noticeable than the light anyway! Yep, they've said it will take a couple of days. He did mention there was a possibility of getting me in before the 11th April so fingers...
