You will be good with Deka clutch. You cant find any better on the market. Some run insane power on that thing. You also need good dsg map with increased pressure and calibrations of the dsg.
I dont think its the smart thing to do.
dq500 is a slower gearbox compared to dq250, and a lot heavyer.
Also mqb swap is more complex to do, not easy as the non mqb swaps.
What i would do: get some good clutches from Dima Deka in Ukraine , best clutches available for the dsg.

When you connect the dq500 to my 2010 leon, you dont use the Kline i previously had on the dq250 connected to pin 1 iirc.
can H and L, +12V , GND and Signal wire on the dq500 connector.
Its the problem i'm having now, so short 1-2 gears on tdi, i hit limiter instantly and get stuck in 5300rpm. I dont have time to change to 2nd gear.
TTRS and RS3 are the longest ratio, then tdi.
Could be ..but where is that in the ecu map? i dont know.
I made simulation 100-200 with dragy trying to change only once starting in 5th gear and i gained 0.4s :)
This is how my dq500 is behaving ..i dont know what the problem is in the map. watch the rpm gauge.
2.0 CR engine 360hp currently. No decalibrations in torque, i send correct torque to gearbox.
If any expert think he can do better software for dq500 i am willing to pay. :)

Depends on stages. Dq500 and dq250 are going strong..multiple 9s cars and 4s 100-200 kmh acceperatiin.
I might be having the only bad remap on my dq500.
Dl501 also isnt that great on my q5.
Im not lucky when it comes to remaping something lol.

On my Rs3 the gear change is flawless. On the leon with dq500 is as bad as it can be. I have tried different maps, none seem to work ok. I dont know why. The best solution for you it would be the 8hp swap. Gearbox is cheap and should be plug and play. Component protection might be an issue, immo.
