I have a audi a3 1.6 auto iv had the gear box replaced but the problem remains ,I can manualy select 1st 2nd but not 3rd but when I select drive it starts in 2nd gear and stays there it just won't gear up or down iv taken the audi to all the auto garages in Liverpool but no one has a clue please...

Hi there I was hopeing some one can healp me with my audi a3 it has a fault with the auto box I can manualy select 1st2nd and 3rd but when it's in drive it starts in 3rd and stays in 3rd it won't shift up or down it's had a recon box put in but the problem is still there iv had a scaner pluged...
