R-Tech vs My old clutch.. R-Tech won, need ideas for a new TQS clutch!

Thanks, are TQ and S3 clutches different then? Also if I went for the S3 clutch would I have to get a new flywheel to go with it?

Haha I've always had my suspicions! Should a standard LuK clutch and slave be enough to sort it?

Nilz I got them from Camskill so I should hope they're not copies! In any case it's not a whining noise like a bearing, more like a juddering, I'm guessing it's tyres dragging or the haldex due to the difference in tyre diameters.

My friend isn't convinced my clutch is slipping because it doesn't slip when pulling away normally from a t-junction or wherever. It only does it in 3rd or above and when I've got my foot down at around 3k rpm (peak torque), he's an idiot right? Also since sticking a couple of new Eagle F1's on...

R-Tech vs My old clutch.. R-Tech won, need ideas for a new TQS clutch!

After finally getting my car remapped yesterday by Niki my 103k old clutch has started slipping. Couldn't be happier with the remap: Now I know the recommended route for A3's is the VR6 single mass etc. but apparently that won't fit mine. The question is will anything that'll go on an S3 fit...

    Driving on low gearbox oil

    My A3's a quattro and it holds 2.6l, I don't know if the 1.9 you're thinking of is for a FWD A3?

    Driving on low gearbox oil

So turns out I've been driving around with only 1.2l of oil in my gearbox and transfer box, is it likely this will have caused any damage? The oil was dark but didn't have excessive metal in it or anything and the magnetic plug wasn't anymore bunged up than would be expected, oils never been...

Guide - How to fit a catch can and simplify the PCV system

I had bought an adapter but turned out the 15mm hose would stretch over the 19mm t-piece, so I just did that as it's neater and less connections to go wrong!

Guide - How to fit a catch can and simplify the PCV system

I used a 15mm can and 15mm hose up to the t-piece, works fine.

Need someone to look over data logs + help with boost surge issue

Thanks for the reply Bill! I checked all the pipework the other day and couldn't see any splits so I'll grab a new N75, it hasn't been throwing any fault codes though... Also I've recently cleaned the TB and done away with the PCV system, there was no excessive oil then so I doubt that's...

    Benjamins S2000 air filter mod.

Almost standard ARY engine (180bhp), I'm having some boost problems so couldn't tell you if it's made any difference. Definitely sounds mean though  edit: better pic

Need someone to look over data logs + help with boost surge issue

Hey, I was told to do some data logs to help figure out my boost surge issue so here they are, I'd be very grateful if someone that knows there stuff has a look over them! The problem I'm having is it appears once a certain boost pressure is reached it dumps, then boosts back up again, it...

    Benjamins S2000 air filter mod.

Yeah you will need an adapter. I got mine from JSPerformance (thanks for the tip paultownsend) and got the filter off GSF. I asked for an 86-70x80mm adapter, I ended up trimming 10mm off the small dia though. Fitted it today along with a catch can (zip ties are temporary and many apologies for...
