This happened on my golf. Think it's the cam sensor. I eventually figured it out when I'd replaced the batteries and spark plugs and checked the leads.

My seats are electric and I have the usual up and down, forward backwards. Then I have something that does something to the middle of the back. I assumed that was lumbar support.

I find that on a long drive I get a really bad back no matter what position I put the seat in or the lumbar support adjusted. I'm only small but my mk4 golf felt fine. If I had the money I would probs have a5 seats but as funds are tight I'll just have to probs use a cushion ha

Check that the puddle light is on, sometimes the microswitch developes a pRoblem and the light won't show. This is a common fault on the mk4 golf. If you search mk4 golf central locking won't work you usually find out exactly what it is.

With an rs3 I think they will only fit an 08 plate and afterwards. And even then it's a big Job and pricey because you have to change the wings and I think the crash bar too. I'm not too sure tho so don't quote me on it. Rs3 wasn't available on the pre facelift

You have to take the bumper off to get to the screws and clips for the grill. Took me a couple of hours but if I can do it then anyone can. At first it's hard to get one clip off but then after the first one is out its pretty easy to get the rest off.

Try xenonz I think its called. I got an all black one and I fitted it. Took me a couple of hours and its certainly cheaper then making one from scratch. It's a pretty good fit too. I got it off eBay.

Don't buy 3m ones off eBay. Most if not all are fake and are like blue tack. Try the megs or autoglym kits. Bilt and hamber are a good make too and u can use some of theirs with water and not a detailing spray.
