    Dash dust

Apologies if this has already been covered. Got a 2017 S5 and I can't seem to get dust off the top of the dash. Used dry and moist microfibre cloths, tried the Audi dash spray (sprayed sparringly on cloth not dash). If anything I seem to add more dust which almost sticks to the soft touch...

Diamond cut 19" v spoke alloy protection

Anyone recommend any products to help protect the alloys? On normal alloys I use to apply some wax to help keep the dirt and brake dust off but not sure if there are special products for the diamond cut wheels or if normal wax will be ok to apply?

    Couple of small issues

Had a fiddle round the back (so to speak) and it's not done it since so think it was the belts. What do you mean drops 2 lights? I thought it should start from cold with no lights illuminated and then each light would illuminate up to the 90 and then stay there? Am I being thick!?

    Supaguard/diamondbrite protection

Oh I'll be lik a dog with a bone, it must be perfect in every way or it will be rejected.

    Couple of small issues

The temp gauge is permanently at 90, from cold start? Does everyone's do this? Annoying rattle from the rear. Quite loud but not been able to find it yet. Sounds plasticy!? Juddering wipers when screen only partially wet. When soaked they're fine. Anyone had these issues? Dealer will be...

    Supaguard/diamondbrite protection

Decision made then! I will tell them I want a full professional detail by a local reputable company. Would have told them this Friday when they were supposed to call me but they didn't. I'm kind of pleased as it adds fuel to my growing fire!

    Supaguard/diamondbrite protection

When I collected my car last weekend there were a couple of marks on the leather seats. Sales guy tried a couple of products to remove them but it didn't work. After getting the Sales Manager involved and expressing my disappointment, I was offered the full interior and exterior protection...

    2 questions re tech

Looking for assistance please! 1. Radio display on main screen (not virtual cockpit) is a bit bland. No scrolling text, lots of blank space. Is this configurable? Or is it at least possible to keep the screen with the stored stations on as that looks better? 2. Default virtual cockpit view. I...

    New car day tomorrow

Hard to explain but I would say it's a small gentle movement. Before you asked me about it I hadn't noticed it at all. When I looked you could see it move but if you have your hand on the knob (ahem) you can't feel the movement.

    New car day tomorrow

That will properly shift. The steering is good, probably not quite as sharp as the XE but still feels well weighted and has some feel to it. It works well with the character of the car, easy, quiet, smooth, relaxing yet top top quality.

    New car day tomorrow

I'm at that age where I want comfort but can't get onboard with wallowy soft riding cars like my wife's C4 cactus. The adaptive sports nails it for me but I only had a few hours drive in an s line with standard sports suspension and that was in no way crashy. My options list was too long but...

    New car day tomorrow

Well the motoring press are unanimous in saying the XE's ride is the perfect blend of comfort and sporty. I can honestly say my A4 is a equal to it. Did a little dynamic driving yesterday and you can feel bumps but it's informative not bone shaking. In auto mode it's spot on in all conditions...

    New car day tomorrow

After all of the quirks and "undesirable characteristics" of my Jag XE, I'm quite happy with some minor movement in gearstick. The rest of the car more than makes up for that slight quirk!

    New car day tomorrow

It's superb, everything just feels right. The steering wheel, pedals, clutch, gearbox all just perfectly weighted. It glides and is all but silent inside. The adaptive sports suspension is phenomenal, soaks up everything but tightens up round bends. There is small movement from the gearstick...
