Here is an example of the TT exhaust that is the same at the front :
Also does anyone know if Milltek do a resonator bypass for the 3.2 - I couldnt find it on their website?
Cheers
I picked up a cat-back Milltek, and while fitting was surprised to notice that the car has two additional silencers that are in-line with the cat's - they appear to be a fixed part of the car assembly.
Has anyone ever removed these (by cutting I assume) and had link pipes made up?
I suppose...
Cheers Tom,
Ye Im taking the car on holiday next week so didnt want to break anything!
I'll attempt the dics/pads again when I get back - maybe saturday morning so Audi are open incase I break somehing!
Any pics would be great - but dont go out of your way.
thanks again
Hi Tac,
Thanks for the info. I guessed it was the 'guide' bolts under the caps - I undid them - but couldnt remove the damn clip! Does it just come out towards you (away from the caliper)?
Regarding the jacking points it seems a lot of people use that method - but where do you place axle...
Just a quick one - where do people jack up the 8P A3 (or the Mk5 Golf). All the ali suspension parts scare me - and I dont wan to use the sill point without a converter for the hydraulic jack.
Any pics and info greatly appreciated.
On the subject of the 3.2 front brakes I have a couple of...
Hi,
I installed a genuine cruise stalk from Audi - I didnt run the extra 'cable' to the bulkhead as this car is a '56 and I didnt think they need it? (I had to run the cable on my 2004 3.2).
I coded the SWC using VCDS and it accepted the coding for 'cruise but no o/b comp'. I can see the...
Hi -
the SWC took the coding for cruise - saying coding 'accepted' - and when I look at 'measured values' in VCDS I can go to the group that includes cruise, and it registers the button presses etc.
Its the engine module I cant configure. I found an old thread on the VCDS section which...
From my research the 1K0 953 549 AH does support it (I must admit that initially I didnt think it did). I have coded the steering wheel controller up for cruise, and the functionality has been tested using measuring values in VCDS.
My problem is activating cruise within the engine module -...
Hi all,
I installed cruise on my A3 last year with no probs. I recently installed the hardware for a colleague, and upon trying to activate the cruise by loggin into the module with '11463' got the following error:
VCDS Login Invalid
'Login Code not Accepted by Controller'
I have tried...

Following on from my other post, I have seen numerous sellers of Audi brake parts
(for example:http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180462990233&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT )
I wanted to know if anyone has any experience or any recommended sellers on ebay for parts?
Also are the...
Hi
I bought the car a year and a half ago - and dont have any receipts for discs/pads - so I dont know unfortunately. I bought the car at 59k - and its got 71k now. The discs have a small lip on them - so thats why I need to nkow the minimum thickness - as they might not need changing for a...
Hi all,
Ive searched the threads but cant find an answer to this!
My 3.2 front brakes are looking a little worn. My question is what is the minimum thickness for both front and rear disks and pads? (I dont have a manual for the car).
Finally, if I do need disks ill get them from GSF as...
Hi

Portsmouth Audi/Southampton Audi - price matched each other (although Portsmouth were about £80 more expensive initially).
Ive managed to get it down to £250 because I told them im not paying £110 for spark...
