    The reason it's only 1.2 bar is cos it "goes loopy" at 1.3 He is now wondering why the head gasket is ****** and the turbo is dead I'll be surprised if the Pistons are in a great way My s3 was running 21psi on a revo map so his thought was that his could do the same on a 225 chip I tried...

    Cheers for the reply I don't know why I bother helping lol as he just went and bought a Chinese one off eBay anyway I give it 6 months before he has to buy another one I told him not to run an mbc to hit 1.2bar and here we are!

    Hi all my cousin has an a4 1.8tqs with a ko4-15 upgrade but the turbo has died (letting oil through and excessive play in all directions) just wondering on where is best to source a replacement. Cheers in advance

    If it makes you feel any better apparently the kids weren't in the car and amazingly the driver survived with two broken vertebrae and made a good recovery or so I saw on one of the news things on facebook

    Could be a leak from the manifold can't hear that well but when mine went it sounded like a bag of spanners Just a quick suggestion and it wasn't constant and worse when cold

    It seems you are right the front bolt snapped and the rear has come away can't get a drill any where near to use easy outs I just want to pull my hair out the cambelt has a small cut in it and the ****** thing was only changed 10k miles ago not a happy bunny do u reckon I'd get away with...

    Hi all just got home and as I started reversing to park I got a large clink and a lot of grinding noise Promptly killed the engine and just pushed the car in and on closer inspection the cambelt tensioner pulley is touching where the engine mount passes it and has made a very small notch in it...

    So that's the remaining manifold bolt the hanging bolt and 2 down pipe bolts off just the remaining down pipe one and should be pretty free

    That's it the head is coming off I have just noticed this too A half eaten cambelt is never good for business so new head gasket and head bolts new manifold new cambelt and water pump (wish I could afford to do the rods) anything else I should be changing

    Forgive me if this is a really bad idea but could I drill the 2 out and use an m10 tap to clear a thread out?
