oh ok, I did it today with both bleeders open and someone on the pedal, about 5 times and no air at all coming out.just clean fluid. i'd really like to get the clutch back so i can take it to a garage. i'm thinking i might have air in the ABS unit, after reading another thread on here, a guy...

Also, is it possible I could have air in the ABS unit? Anyone know if the free download version of VCDS lite, unregistered will allow me to activate & purge the ABS unit??

Sorry for the late reply, and thanks for your advice. so bled both bleeders on the m.c at the same time, pushing the pedal? ..have you experienced a similar problem before? it says in the manual you need a pressure bleeder to bleed the m.c so haven't tried doing with the brake pedal.. worth a...
