    Torque, yes i am sure there is a specific torque rating buried in a workshop manual, but of the top of my head they are M8 cap screws which would be 17 ft lb for an 8.8 bolt. I'd start there. as your going into aluminium anyway.

    Carb Cleaner works too, but its a pretty pricey way to do it that's all and probably evaporates a bit quick to treat a really badly clogged up one.

    Hi everyone, So I have a DMF that’s almost gone and the clutch isn’t far behind it. However, I don’t know if to punt for one of these Single mass conversion kits or to go for a like for like replacement. I am lightly modified but nothing too extreme stage 1 tune.

    Yes, that said tandem pump failure would show as general poor performance, as a pose to rough idle, that and the you might also detect diesel in the lubrication oil. As regards to the vcds injector readings, only coil/solenoid faults tend to give a fault, and that tends to be the harness...

    Indeed, sounds to me like injector seal failure, the Black is from combustion gasses mixing with diesel. Via the fuel return gallery in the head. The copper washer/seal at the bottom of the injector tube is likely to be leaking. Assuming you can still get the injector out then it’s a...
