Coilovers totally transformed the lifeless drive! At 95,000 miles the shocks and spring we're hardly much use anymore. Regarding the 'stupid' comment, its a much better drive now than it was at standard! By a long shot!
2.0FSi, wish it had been a diesel!
Just thought I'd pop a few pics up of my A3 as it now stands.
Owned the car for about 11 months now....but really haven't felt much love for it since the off. Had nothing but Ford's up till the BMW 330d before this, but I can't wait to get a Ford back. German cars just don't sit right with me...
Not any more.

There all the same now.
Raceland, Rokkor, Ta Technix, JOM - âGo low for cheapâ, or not as it would prove with my Audi A3 8P
I purchased a set of Raceland coilovers off eBay after being pretty happy with my previous ones on the Focus. Bit confused when Rokkors arrived, but not to worry as they are identical...
Completely drained and changed my coolant at the weekend. Running fine, no overheating and bottle full...however the coolant warning light keeps coming on when i first start up.
Any suggestions???
Would an air lock cause this without it overheating???
Cheers
Very odd all this! Since you mentioned this, I have noticed a which knocking noise (like a solenoid click) from near the passenger footwell. Only hear it once the car has been running, then ignition off.
Well....further investigation shows this is where the G295 nOX sensor is!!! Does this have...
Sounds very viable.
Yer, only from cold.
Still loosing coolant very slowly though, so figured thats related to it. But no signs to show head gasket failure and can't see any leaks!
Audi replaced the coil packs last week under warranty. No difference at all. Say its pretty safe to said its not an ignition issue.
So either air or fuel related then!
Going to check the cam follower tonight.
