What have you done to your Audi A4 B7 today?

Yeah I’d just put normal bulbs in if I were you. I think they’re worth it for the boat trailer as the whole light unit gets submerged at the ramp and might last longer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What do you mean by effective? I’d just installed a new waterproof sealed set of leds on the boat trailer so just did this to make them work. They worked fine when hooked up to my Hilux. Normal bulbs would be fine if I didn’t already have the led set installed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What have you done to your Audi A4 B7 today?

Here’s a couple pics. I just basically got 6 resistors 21w12v to mimic normal bulbs and put them in line on each positive wire. Married all the negatives together and glued them into a sealed aluminium box on the trailer. There was enough slack in my trailer wiring so I didn’t have re-run any of it

You don’t have LEDs on the trailer do you? When I hooked up my boat trailer after installing towbar the lights were doing all sorts of weird things. I thought I’d messed something up with the wiring but was just the LEDs on the trailer not drawing enough juice. Resistors on every light sorted it out

I’ll put a vote in for the bilstein b16s. Pss9. I’ve had mine in for 6+ years and they’re awesome. Having the adjustment for damping is handy, I firm the rears right up when towing the boat etc. takes 5 seconds Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Look up Joey mod. You should find plenty of info including diy. Seriously though, if I were you I’d still consider getting some bi Xenons! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Here’s a good comparison of the daytime look. Big difference. And here’s a link to a decent write up about the swap. https://nickscarblog.com/diy/halogen-to-xenon-conversion-for-b7-audi-a4s-2005-5-2008 It’s very easy you just need an adapter harness. Kufatec is the best bet for that. Plenty...

I've gained a new car somehow.

Sounds like the difference I had going to stage 2 with the 034 HFC. But I believe you’ve been running that for a long time already right? Hopefully just fueling doing what it should with the new sensor and free flowing filter. It can take a few miles for the ecu to adapt to the changes so most...

    Installing K&N Air Filter

Yeah I got mine from Audi. Same with the rain tray and battery cover. I can’t remember how much they were as it was about 4 years ago but I remember it was cheaper from Audi direct than anywhere else I could find
