I bought a 2002 1.9tdi avf a4 quattro. Bought it knowing it has problems as I have another one there I can use for parts.I sorted most the problems including changing injectors cleaning the egr other small things. But things I can't figure out is has a thumping noise coming from the intake...

Lads and lady's my left(passenger) side engine mount is on its way. I need to change it is there any alternatives to the oem one with the sensor. I've read some people using b5 s4 ones. Any cheaper alternative then paying an arm and a let for them. Thanks Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

Update. Brother is driving the car he said it ran well this morning as he got into work pedal stopped working again. After few hour he went to get lunch worked fine again. Seems to happen only when worm. Going for diagnosis today but don't think will show anything unless it happens there and...

Need help please. Iv 2003 1.9 tdi avf Quattro a4. No resopnce to the acceleration pedal. Sounds normal when I start it. But when I hit the pedal traction control light turns on and coil plugs. And also I can hear some sort of vacuum and car goes to 1200 rpm. What can it be haven't looked at...

As above. I just want to know us the immobilizer built into the instrument cluster or in the ecu. Reason I'm asking is my speedo isn't working and I thing that's the source off the problem. Would I have to recode it or will it work direct. Thanks Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

Just had another look. There's a plastic/rubber piece where the speedo sensor is Ment to be. So I take it there's no speedo sensor going into the gearbox Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

Il be doing that tomorrow .Is the immobilizer in the cluster or the ecu. Was told the ecu. There's plenty around with the millage mine has. Won't have to worry about that Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

I wouldn't be sure if they did stop at the same time as I bought the car with the problem. So you think if I change the instrument cluster it should do the job. Only wires I seen coming from the gearbox was the reverse lights etc. That was it Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

That's perfect I was told diff could be the same but the drive shaft could be different

I don't mind the long gears as I won't be rallying it. Will the diff from the 1.8t do

I have all them parts I got the lot of my mate. It's just the box I'm looking for
