    Hi guys, still looking at S3s and I’m of a mind to get a used manual due to the fact I feel the S-Tronic may be lacking involvement and I like to feel like I’m driving in a car like an S3! Is this something others would agree with?

    63miles a day mainly M1 with some driving in the outskirts of London at the end and some countryside nearer home.

    Unfortunately I work inside the M25 so diesel is likely to become more expensive to run due to tax rates on diesel cars. But I get what you mean, and I currently run petrol but granted that’s a 1.4l not a 2.0l turbo

    yeah, fair enough! I mean for starters my insurance is going to be £1,400 at the cheapest but I’m putting my savings towards the insurance so not too worried by that main concern was fuel I think I worked it out to be about 3-4K a year driving at 25-30mpg average!

    Hi guys, was wondering if anyone had any advice on running costs for a S3. I will be doing up to 17k miles a year for work etc. A fair bit of rush hour commuting included in that mileage for work.

    Thanks for the advice the other issue I have other than the soft top is it costs more so likely to have less toys I can afford on it!! :'(

    Anyone have opinions on the Cabriolet? Found a lovely looking one, my only issue is that they are soft top and I prefer a body colour roof look...

    Yeah that's the sort of spec I'm looking for. But budget is maximum of low 20k's and preferably less than 50k miles on the clock and 15 reg.

    I’m going to use Sainsbury’s for finance as they give 2.9%apr whereas Audi is 13.5%
