Nah I've seen the honeycomb on TT's in the UK. Just they only appear to be on the 's-line' models that look like the 'S' and not on the actual 'S' model. The link you gave was the very place I've looked at. Doesn't seem to have that bottom splitter that the S has with the dividing lower grill...

Seems to be coming from the left hand side of the car. Took the glove box out and it's a lot louder but didn't occur until I sustained high speed.

I don't think its a bearing, the noise changes with RPM not speed. Also the noise doesn't change if I change direction.

Sorted but by another means. The more local VW dealer could only order parts the VW and Audi share so couldn't order this badge. In the end rang an Audi dealer. As the item is on back order from Germany they have agreed to get it in the post to me.
