    So long!

Don't worry, if I get a spare minute or two I will pop by to see what's happening!

    So long!

Don't think you'd call it an upgrade!?! I'm obviously having an early mid-life crisis cos it's an '03 MINI Cooper! I'm mainly doing country roads and town driving and no longer need to tow so the A4 had to go! :blownose: Still the Cooper means it'll now be :racer: on the way to work instead of...

    So long!

After four years and 48,000 miles I've said goodbye to the A4 and therefore it's goodbye to you guys as well :crying: A great big thank-you to everybody that provide answers when questions were posed, especially QuattroJames :salute: Hope you all continue to enjoy driving one of the best (IMHO)...

    Rainy Day Problems!

*Update* Still no re-occurrence of the problem so I came up with another solution - I've sold the car! (the new owner is fully aware of recent happenings so my conscience is clear!). So basically this is bye-bye - hope everyone else gets to the bottom of their issues without too much expense...

    Rainy Day Problems!

Dan - no further updates I take it? Typically the weather has been dry since the problem first arose and so the car has been/is currently running like a dream! No holes in the airbox but haven't yet taken the battery out as I'm concerned that I don't have the code if the radio goes - can anyone...

Cheers for the confirmation - had a quick look last night but will have a proper look later on and let you know how I get on!

    Rainy Day Problems!

Paulsb - what exactly do you mean by 'airbox'? I'm guessing you mean below the air intake for the engine (LHS of engine bay) rather than the box that holds the filter for the heating/ventalation system? Swarcup - I'll definitely be checking out below the battery tomorrow pm - does anyone know...

    Rainy Day Problems!

Hi Dan Firstly, a big welcome! Secondly, thanks for making me feel much better knowing that someone else is being affected too! Hit a few spots of rain on the way home and thought 'Here we go!' but it didn't come to much and the car didn't miss a beat. The morning could be interesting though -...

    Rainy Day Problems!

The thing that is most strange and causing the bafflement is that it's only when it's wet that the problem seems to occur - picked the car up from the indy tonight (bone dry and sunny) and it ran like a dream all the way home!

    Rainy Day Problems!

I'm hoping that a fellow (unfortunate) B6 1.9 TDI owner might have experienced a similar problem and therefore be able to offer some advice. Basically, since last Wednesday, whenever it rains the car seems to suffer from what can only be described as a case of the worst turbo-lag ever (in...

    ESP/ABS Warning Lights Help/Advice

Guys On Saturday my ABS and ESP warning lights decided to come on after travelling approx. 200 metres down the road. I stopped the car, turned the ignition off and re-started and all appeared fine (the two lights went out a few seconds after start-up and stayed off). However yesterday, on my...
