I say slipping but the revs actually drop 200 rpm. Not like a clutch slip where revs would shoot up??

So i spent all of today under my a3 b7 3.0tdi quattro changing the gearbox filter and oil hoping to solve my slipping in 3rd problem. Gearbox oil was manky. Sealed for life supposedly but deffo recommend changing. Anyway gear change is deffo alot smoother however ive still got that little slip...

Need to change my gb oil and filter on my 3.0 tdi quattro. Its a six speed auto. Slips in 3rd gear. Heard best remedy is to change oil and filter to see if that cures it. Anyone had similar issues? Seen a kit on ebay for 120 quid. Is that reasonable?? Any help appreciated. Cheers

Just a 4" slashed tip he welded onto pipes. Cut backboxes away and bought new pipes through a couple of feet from the cat. Much more pleasing than the nasty downturned pipes. Some roar off the v6 diesel :-)

Paid 180 quid got mine cut away completely and 2 4" tips put on

300 quid would prob be about right. Was just looking to see if anyone has them and could reccommend or stay away.

Dont use it on a track. Cant deny i dont put my foot down but only really use car too much. Only 2 mins from wrk and running about at weekend

Just think they look more appealing to the eye. More sporty.....
