After reluctantly selling my a4 3.0 v6 tdi due to gearbox issues i picked up my audi a5 yesterday from arnold clark in glasgow. Its a 60 plate 2.0 tfsi sportback. Absolutely stunning car to look and and drive however i cannot see much at night due to very poor headlights. They are xenons but...
It is a fwd but like baka said my a4 had a billion lb ft of torque and i missed it as soon as i drove it. A5 is by far a superior looking car so you cant have it all i guess. Got it for a steal so opted for it instead of a dearer 3.0 tdi again. Must be getting sensible in my old age. Lol. Have...

Need to change my gb oil and filter on my 3.0 tdi quattro. Its a six speed auto. Slips in 3rd gear. Heard best remedy is to change oil and filter to see if that cures it. Anyone had similar issues? Seen a kit on ebay for 120 quid. Is that reasonable?? Any help appreciated. Cheers
Just a 4" slashed tip he welded onto pipes. Cut backboxes away and bought new pipes through a couple of feet from the cat. Much more pleasing than the nasty downturned pipes. Some roar off the v6 diesel :-)
