Right folks I've been a real idiot!! the cradle actually does fit! Just been back to the car to try it again and after a few minutes of frustration actually got it on. There is a bit of nack to getting it on and with the connection types being different I put 2 and 2 together and assumed it was...

Yes it is an original factory fitted system. The car came with a genuine Nokia cradle which has a different connection type on the back in the shape of an 18 pin connection with no ariel port??

£160 is what i call a bargain! i heard that they were cheap before hand but that is super cheap for a full refurb. Apparently the guys there previously worked for a company in prescot and have a few years experience under their belts. I'll be popping down there this week for a look. Cheers...

NHN, cheers for the shout! i'll definitely consider it! I really like the shadow chrome finish thats standard on the BBS CSL's but i'm unsure on how difficult this finish is to achieve.
