So yeah tried to replace the ABS sensor.. we finally got it changed but then we couldn't get it to stay in the hub. Turned out that the wheel bearing hub ring were the sensor sits in was rusted off hence it was loose. Unable to get the bolts out so another trip to a garage. Phoned them up before...

just my luck then. well i hope it will slow down a bit. the mechanic of the last garage did advise me to get the belts changed as we don't know when it was done last and they looked a bit thin. 170k on the clock now. and the brake issue noticed on the 1st might be related with a ABS sensor issue.

The saga continue's... Handbrake failed and it turned out that the passenger side back break was running hot. Was advised to replace the Discs, pads and calipers. (which I did as some moveable parts were solid) After this the MOT failed on break issue's in the front, track rod and leaking tank...

Update: I've replaced the fuel level sensor but it didn't fix the issue. Found something online and not sure if it's gonna fix it but will give it a go anyway. The thing I found was to remove the fuse of the fuel pump / senor and the instrument panel. Not starting it. switching it on and off...

Hi All, Got an issue with the fuel gauge as it shows "overfull' after I filled it up completely but starts giving me the low fuel warning around the Half a tank mark. atm I'm just watching how much I've been driving around before I fill it up as I don't want to be stuck with another surprise...

Had a good day today with the help of mrnice :) once i got the correct rivets the window was done in less then an hour. stopped at soundmaster scotland to get info about replacing the radio. went with the unlocking of the original concert +cd and disc changer. 25 quid and took him 20 minutes...

Yeah i'm not far out of Glasgow. G78 area. The thing is that the car is on my future in-laws drive and we taped up the window hopefully it will hold for the night. And looking to get it fixed tomorrow during the day (ASAP). When would you be able to dig them out and when could be meet up? Also...

got the window part from eBay as you suggested and after watching several videos. I decided to give it a go with my brother in law. following the video we drilled out the rivets. the problem in having now is that non of the rivets we have are working.... any idea which size they need to be?
