Hi.Been trying to decide on new suspension for a while, thought I’d made my mind up on eibach sportline kit but now swaying to some decent coilovers.Do you guys do any like the bc racing ones.I don’t want ride height effecting damper travel And I want a degree of damper adjust
Youv just been recommended on a thread as the go to guy for suspension.
I’m looking to upgrade my s3 8L and was thinking of the bilstein/eibach kit. I have had coil overs in the past and found them to be too firm for everyday driving. Would you recomend the b12 kit or is there an alternative out there ? Prices would be great, including delivery to cambridgeshire
hi damian, im running 2014 a3 8v quattro tdi 184 with eibach sportline springs. only issue is front springs are too short for oem struts. whats my options? when front springs fitted to struts the spring isnt clamped by the top mount. thanks
Hi mate, I’m looking at buying a C7 A6 SE, and would like to drop the suspension to S-Line ride height - or a touch lower. But not too low, I like the OEM look. What would you recommend? Also, I would like to fit some aftermarket RS6 20” alloys, can you recommend anywhere to get them?
Hi its the usual I guess lol, have a 2011 audi. A3 black edition, it's on standard 18" rotas but want it lowered only using springs. I'm guessing it's lower than normal a3s and heard people saying I need 45 to 50mm drop on the springs...
Hi, I was wondering if you could help me find the part number for A4 DTM front springs? I bought Suplexes with part number 8E0411105EJ (S Line, I think) before but they seem too bouncy and not stiff as I expected.
Hi Damian,,i´ll traveling to Germany next month. I i need to buy a set of coilovers for my A3 2.0 TFSI Sportback stage 3. actually i´ve OEM shocks with Eibach sportlines,. I´m looking for a coilover to use as a daily and track, between AP and Vogtlands wich is better for my use? and how much the cost of one of this sets shipped to Berlin. ( do you have Tax free option? )
I'm looking to make my A4 (B7) 2WD 2.0T ride less crashy as the ride quality is back breaking. After reviewing your historic posts, I notice you recommend the B12 Prokit more often. I'm happy with my current S Line height but don't mind a slight drop, if I take the B12 option would it improve ride quality whilst retaining the handling?
And, how much would it cost? what else provided in the kit?
My Alpina B3 biturbo is fitted with Bilstein suspension - developed by Birds BMW with Bilstein. This is very good, giving a compliant ride + good handling, far better than stock.
I am considering an A5 3.0 tdi quattro instead but I found the (car) low speed bump compliance a bit firm.
Can you suggest a kit that would improve the compliance but retain decent handling?....Bilstein B12 or other?
Hi there! What price could you do me for a set of H&R 10mm & 12mm hubcentric spacers and wheel bolts for my 2011 A3 8P FWD TDi Sportback? I would also be interested in the Whiteline Anti Lift Kit. Many thanks!
Hey there, I hear you're the person to go to!
I have a 2004, 1.6 A3, looking at coilovers, potentially lowering max of 100mm, any recommendations? Budget around £350 tops, although could probably stretch to £400 if they would be the world better.
Im after some AP coilers for my S3 8L Apy 2000 plate for a full suspension setup... i would need tie bars also i believe and is there anything else i would need?
Also i have had a look on demon tweaks and they off a finance option (As I'm a little skint as saving for a house lol)
would you be able to quote me happy Lol ???
Hi Damian - your thought and ideas on suspension mods for my A4 2.0 Tfsi S Line Avant Quattro Special Edition 107K miles. Has the S Line Special Edition 18" wheels
Currently on standard S Line springs & dampers and suffers from the typical stance issue on quite a few S Line Avants. The rear springs have settled and looks about right, the front sits a good 30mm too high. Gary
Hi Damian, I've recently bought an a3 1.6 petrol and looking to lower it about 40-50mm, not really wanting to spend much more than £300-£350. Just wondering if you could tell me what your best options would be within my budget?
Forgot to mention Damian its had the S3 facelift conversion done on the car it has the 18" rotor arm replicas 18X8.0J offset 45.Would like it to sit low as the s3 or little bit lower. with a good comfortable ride without the bounce when driving.Regards
Hi Damian recently purchased a3 tdi sline 170 3 door FWD. The problem i have it sits too high when i look at other s lines they sit lower !!. the suspension is very bouncy when driving even on level roads like a bouncy castle. I feel the setup fitted to the car may not be s line set up !!. Can you please tell the best option to lower the car front and back also having a comfortable ride and not bouncy ?thanks
