Based on my experience your best bet is to either order or just keep checking auto trader for new cars that have been cancelled but still built. I wouldn’t be paying over list for one of these cars, brings it too closely in line with new cars from the class above, M3, RS 4, low spec Caymans etc...

@RS03??? officially cancelled now and refund confirmed so feel free to remove my car from the list. RS 4 ordered with build week of 22-28, should have it sometime in September.

I’ve gone straight in on an RS 4, dealer is confident of around 16 weeks for delivery. If this one goes sideways I’m giving up and getting a scooter. I’ve just had a word with myself overnight, they’re holding my money on a vehicle it’s taking them 17 months to deliver to me, it’s not a Porsche...
