I'm looking to help a friend out who recently bought a 2003 A4 avant. For piece of mind he wants to replace the cambelt. It's an AWX 1.9tdi engine. Is there any guides or how to's on how to do it? I've heard it's quite a straight forward replacement as far as cambelts go. Need to gather a list...
Ok, my 2002 1.9tdi was overheating, one of the radiator pipes was hot and the other cold which suggested the thermostat. I had this replaced but it's still overheating, the coolant/want is bubbling and the doesn't seem to be any hot air coming through the vents. Can anyone suggest what the issue...
I have a 52 reg A3. It has the digital climate control. However, what with this warm weather there is a bit of an issue! The air con on the coldest setting is blowing out luke warm air. The gas is filled up, fuses fine. Last summer it worked a treat. Anyone had a similar issue?
Thanks. It's had a cam belt and water pump in the last year. But it also says "New clocks fitted last year bought from BBA reman." Does this mean the DIS was faulty?

Driving out of a car park today, the dash beeped and the whole display was flashing with a red icon like (O) with an ! in the middle. It stopped flashing then came on again a few seconds later, stopped and hasn't been on since.
Any have an idea what this could be?
