Right, went out in the car today and I can confirm it makes no difference which vents are open.
I pretty much cleats have the blowers on the first setting but as soon as you hit about 60mph it said the fan is t there regulating it anymore and the wind just blows straight through the ducting as...
Yeah, like I said above, the ones in eBay all seem to be in Germany!? I don't know why nobody in the UK wants to ever break a steering wheel.
Unfortunately the one you have linked to is the wrong part, it has three connectors whereas Rev. C only has the white one.
Right, finally got round to removing this today.
I was checking the wiring harness was seated correctly when it pulled the connector off the pcb! I'm assuming that would the cause of the intermittent connection. Anyway, I managed to prize the switch open (did t have testing torx head required...
Ok, maybe I'll experiment with not having it set to the screen then. Like I say, I only really have it on the screen, I find the face vents dry me out a bit (I'm a sensitive kinda guy!).
I've owned a variety of cars previously... The only one that ever did strange things with heating and...
Hmm, not sure but I agree with what your saying about it feels like the air comes straight in from outside.
I never have mine set to auto, usually have a mix of AC and Econ. Always have blowers on the screen unless it's rely hot in which case I use the face vents to circulate the cold air more...
Well, if that's the case then I'm really surprised.
I have never owned a car that has suffered with this before. A bit of wind noise is fine, but this sort of wind noise is something I've never experienced.

I've searched and read a lot of posts regarding this but they never seem to draw any conclusions!?
It's regarding the amount of wind noise that seems to enter the cabin when you do more than about 60mph. If I hit recirc it goes quiet and removing the pollen filter confirms that the...
Hi all, very quick and easy question.
How do get the buttons out of the MFSW? My left hand one that skips tracks and scrolls through the phone book etc. doesn't have a very good connection. I want to whip it out and see what's going on but don't want to end up breaking it!
I have searched, but...
Well, it's been a few weeks now and I've gotten into the habit of checking the oil once a week and seemingly randomly having to open and close the bonnet to clear the light.... oh well, only another 5.5k till it's due a service, I'll get a new sensor fitted then!
Nice bike :icon thumright:
Mines just an ally Defy 1. Only had it since October, but I'm hankering after something a bit more special already. And by special, I mean carbon.
I want to get some roof bars for my car to pop a bike rack and/or roof box on, although I was quite pleased that my road bike will slot in the back of the car without dismantling... it is a bit of faff removing my daughters car seats though.
And I wouldn't be as keen to do this with my MTB...
Ah yes, good point.
These lovely intermittent faults that won't present themselves when you want for a mechanic, but you can bet you life they'll pop up when you really don't want them to!
