Ah, mine did a similar thing but that turned out to be joint between the prop shaft and rear diff,

It was an OEM turbo(allegedly) the garage that did it didn't mention anything about the head, do you think I have any recourse if it's been improperly diagnosed?

It had two year warranty but that gone now, always been serviced, I suppose I've just got to suck it up and deal with it!

I had my turbo go pop in 2011 when the car was 52k, it's gone again today and I've not even done 30k since, I don't rag the car, I always let it warm up and most of my driving is on the motorway, I'm supposed to moving into my new flat tonight but instead I'm stuck 200 miles from home awaiting...

Mines never done that, might try cleaning the EGR valve this weekend, see if that helps

Mine does the same, I'm not worried as it's always done but it would be nice to know what it is.

I phoned them to book a test drive in a scirocco a few months back, got told that was fine, got there the same afternoon and found out it had been sold 3 days earlier, :ermm:

Search for A4 lights on ebay as well, I found one for 30 quid and it's the same item,
