Hi, I have recently purchased a 2001 Facelift S4 avant and I am looking for someone who knows these cars to give me maybe an hour of their time to look at a few niggling issues and give me a verdict - I am based i Bmth and Bracknell - anyone within an hour of either - I would willingly travel...

is there any possibility more light can be shed on the 'antenna control' because the details are fuzzy and i am really trying to get the last out of my analogue signal. Is there anyone out there who has a really good grasp on these units?

As per the title - having recently purchased a 2001 facelift S4 - I am worried by the lack of breaking. Having owned a UrS4 which ended up running some rather large Porsche 'Big-Red' callipers - I am keen to understand if I can put later struts on the B5, be it B6/7, with later RS4 callipers...

Spent £124 quid in Halfords on a decent battery - well - 83 after trade discount - at least it should rule out any 'low voltage' gotcha's..... am going to search for the Nokia RTFM and see if I can control this piece of crap one way or another!

yes it is the unit with the circular knob with speaker located under the steering column. It did it again this moring - I went to sainsburys - came back 20 minutes later and the battery was dead with the only sign of life being the bluetooth trying to pair or connect.....? Driving me insane...

As per the title - I acquired a 'X' plate, facelift Avant last weekend and there are two issues with the Nokia Bluetooth which are 'concerning me'.... When I get in, turn ignition - the Nokia Bluetooth announces itself with the loudest of chimes - I need to make this stop before I take more...

2001 - drove a sales rep from London to Edinburgh on A1 all the way - with three fuel stops it took about 10 hours.... never again!

As the old monster has died, she has been replaced with a facelift 2001 S4 Avant. She has all the trimmings including the Nav Plus system and heated Recaro's. I am keen to learn from other owners and anyone who has incite and interest. I have been on the S2Forum for about 5 years as Damian URS4...
