I did think of the named components but it excludes sat nav which with hearing some stories of the MMI falling over I'm uncomfortable taking such a big risk for a couple of hundred quid.
My AUC Warranty is about to expire and I have the following options...... (2008 Audi S5 - 37k miles)
Comprehensive 0 xs - £1,257.00 - 15k miles per annum
Comprehensive 100xs - £1,021 - "
Does anyone have thoughts on the above ? anyone bargained with them to get a better deal ? Any issues with...
The lomond group are murder IMO (Glasgow/Ayr/Edinburgh/Stirling)
Perth Audi have been the best I've came across yet hence buying my S5 from them at the end of last year
My A4 170PS went into limp mode with a flashing coil light, EML and DPF symbol.
DPF Symbol came on first but after no joy with a regen (usual motorway driving in 4th/5th above 2k revs) the coil light and EML then came on.
Going by the above I believed it to be a faulty DPF Sensor...
I'm needing a favour to reset an EML light on my 2007 B7 A4 170ps.
I have cleared the DPF fault (I think !) by disconnecting the DPF sensor and giving it a clean, a scan would be good also to confirm this was what the problem was.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers
Does anyone else think the price is a bit high, I know the spec is pretty high but nearly £13k for a car with nearly 120k on the clock
I have a very similar spec the trade offs being
No Nav/changer or alcantara seats
My spec has heated leather seats and front/rear parking sensors
I would...
My take on it is...
1.9TDI and 2.0TDI (140ps only)
Jan 05 to Dec 05 - non TDV vehicles
Dec 05 to end - TDV vehicles
CO2 Emmissions for each dropped from 158g/km to 153g/km with the TDV model (2.0tdi figures)
The only 2.0 TDI with a DPF is the 170ps version which is a non TDV model
No delete pipe for the A4 170ps, Leon and Golf yes.
By the time one was specifically fabricated and the recoding carried out there is no guarantee that my dash won't still light up like a xmas tree, potentially false economy.
No DPF's in the UK 10 working days should be here start of next...
have a look here.....
http://alternativefuels.about.com/od/glossary/g/dpf.htm
Known for choking up generally when people are constanly toodling round town and very little motorway driving.
Around £1k + labour to replace if damaged, which I've had to do due to another problem.
If removed...
That seems a big increase in power for the 140, I've only ever looked at the 170 remap figures right enough (currently running a bluefin on a 170ps, adds approx 35/40)
Do you know anyone else with a similar map ? to compare fuel consumption.
Turns out it's actually a HP fuel pump failure, the gasket has failed and has been mixing oil with the excess fuel returned to the fuel tank, which then in turn gets dragged back round the system, vicious circle.
New pump
Removal of fuel tank and clean up
Clean out fuel lines
Remove injectors...
