hi yes was trying to correct the mileage but i clicked coding then its changed to km also says now On switch of ignition i'm also presented with a warning telling me to apply brake when stationary when selecting gear its never said this before

Hi looking for some help got my clutch changed and ever since then my power steering has stopped working,I have reset fault codes and it will start working again until I switch the engine off and back on replaced battery still the same any ideas ? Thanks in advance :) also got a warning coming...

Yes it’s working had ignition lights but when turned key starter didn’t do anything so bumped started it turned it straight off now it’s starting from the key again ? Also has new battery from the shop . What should the alternator out out voltage be sitting at and I’ll check that tomorrow. Thanks

Back again ‍♂️ Same issue but not with power steering :) went to start the car and nothing had to bump start again, starter motor is brand new so isn’t that could this be down to a faulty earth cable ?

Update steering is fixed cleared the fault code said low voltage now working a treat thanks

Haven’t tried that as the steering is extremely heavy but I will give that a try in the morning. Don’t want to drive it because of the steering in case something happens that I need to avoid on the road

So bought new starter replaced that and it’s starting first turn but red steering wheel light is still on and there’s no power steering ? It’s got a new battery aswell could this be a fuse ? I remember the pd130 had electric power steering and also took fluid is this the same ? Thanks

Looking for some help on here so other day I went to out to start my A3 2004 2.0tdi bkd and starter sounded really sluggish but started and went on my way to work turned it off and started ok, next day went to start it wouldn’t start as if was no power getting to starter I thought maybe battery...
