Turns out it was the front drivers wheel bearing.
He did the front passenger one as well as he said they were the same, so will have the same wear expectancy and will go soon.
He did the both for £330.00 which I think is quite good for a Audi Indy
I have been using BP ultimate Diesel and I have noticed a power difference between tesco regular diesel and BP ultimate.
I personally think its worth the extra.
I wish Tesco would get some premium diesel, every station has it apart from the supermarkets.
Pure Snake Oil
Regular oil changes at 5/6000k / 6 months, with good quality oil will keep everything clean.
There are cars runing over million miles out there in the world which have never touched this stuff.
Regular maintenance is key.
I will check the weights, if not will take it to my Audi Indy
I wont be able to check anything else as I dont have a jack or anything, and even if I did I would not know what I was looking at LOL
Thanks mate, really appreciate the help
I did not think about the balancing weights, would they really cause a loud noise if one came off?
I know if its the bearings it will cause stress on the CV joints, but TBH I would not even know where to look, I dont have anything to take wheels off.
Hey all, happy bank holiday.
I had this weird sound come out of nowhere the other day and it sound worrying.
I can only hear it on the motorway or fast driving and it sounds like a prop engine plane but a lot high pitch.
When I speed up the sound gets louder and when I slow down it starts to...
I have this every since installing my honeycomb grill, dont know why, there is no obstruction.
I Press the lever really hard, it will almost feel like its going to break, but dont go that far.
Go to your bonnett and you should feel it open a little, pull it up, then go back into the car and...
Just grab the silica bag from the water res and see if its split, if it is you are looking at a best part of £1000.00.
You may get away with a flush and clean, but not likely.
What ever you do, dont take it to audi as that £1000.00 will turn to £3500.00, get a good German Indy to look at it...
You can reamp the gearbox though, make it change gears more effective, this will actually increase your 0-60 time as it will switch gears faster.
I just would not go increasing the torque and HP as a new DSG gearbox is very expensive.
I have been told over and over my clutch will slip ect.
I have had my car re-mapped to its max, 150bhp to nearly 200bhp and I have not had any problems with the standard clutch.
Get the stage 1 and if you need a new clutch then get it, dont spend money you dont need to as your current one is...
Yeah thats the company, they are full of %^££"
I have texts from the owner saying my air bag cover was done and ready to ship on week 4 then ignored me after that.
Didnt even bother saying sorry, or even offering a small discount for the troubles.
They told me 4 weeks, then about week 2 they...
Yeah its not the same company, but thats a sweet looking wheel.
I didnt really buy it for design as a new airbag cover would have been over £100.00 so for 120.00 I got a nice looking Suede cover with gloss black badges.
I wish I could have just bought the rings and surround, but you cant buy...
