Does anyone know if I will get away with a 225/50/R17 wheel & winter tyre on my B9.5 S4 - appearance not too important over winter. I hadn't even considered the discs & callipers etc but now I think about it they may not even go on!

My car has tried to kill multiple cyclists over the past few weeks..

The only impact point was the headlight so like you say, low damage but high cost - considering if the deer was 2ft further into the road i'd imagine a whole lot more damage and potentially even undrivable.. Re the deer, all I know is it did get away! Can imagine he had quite a headache though..

The other option is - I have found a used one on eBay for £550 but I am wondering whether it will need to be recoded to the car etc or whether it will work just plug and play..? I have doubts that it'll be that simple.
