I've had a nail in each of my rear tyres recently- about 6 weeks apart but luckily both very slow to deflate and repairable for a very modest fee. Annoying, but I'm thankful neither was more seriousa and still no idea where they came from!?

I'm circa 16-17k now and have had a squeak for about 750 miles, just not had a chance to take it in yet! Hopefully something will be covered under the warranty- will report back once I finally get it to the dealers.

28, just, North Wales. Had it 14 months ish, so was 26 when I got my B9. Work hard in a good job, wanted a nice car with a bit of an 'executive' look, ticked all the boxes. No kids but don't like 3 door cars at all so wouldn't have got anything smaller.

I have the same engine, gearbox and trim level, albeit Saloon not Avant. 11 months and 11,500 miles in and I can't complain at all. Occasionally have to press Start twice when the car is cold, but other than that not a problem to speak of.

Not sure, it's listed in the parts database as an "underrun bar". It's got a rubbery seal round the edge of the other side, so I presume it's covering something important!?

Banged the bottom of it coming off a steep driveway on to the road. This fell off! Trip to the dealers I think!

After previously being a little smug that this issue hadn't hit my A4, it finally did a few weeks ago. I know exactly what caused it though- I stalled the car! Fits with the previous comments re "not turning it off properly".
