If I can rember I believe it had 7 in there and we tried 6 due to the fact I didn't have a TV tuner, not 100% on that though but we definitely took a 1 off one of the codes due to that which didn't make a diffrence

Yep changed the slip ring along with a new harness. I used this for my module http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Cruise_Control_Retrofitting_(8E). As I thought the higher ones Q and R the only advantage was heating?
