same thing happended to mine from previous works, i helicoiled mine!i did mine with the mount still attatched to the engine!that mount is a git to get out too!

hi all, since having my prop shaft replaced ive had a constant noise which sounds like something rubbing on the prop,,, had a look theres a slight mark on the doughnut and the shaft as it passes over the steering rack. all the heat sheilds seems to have plenty of room though. the other thing...

Used to have them on my focus rs. Good in the dry !! Quick to warm up but proper ditch finders in the wet and aquaplane bad... The Toyo's are as good but work in the wet too! Pararda's look good too

Managed to swap broke over. The fault was in the join, can only describe it as a cv joint connecting the shafts together. The races that hold the bearings together had collapsed and mullered the end of the shaft!!oh well onto next tho g that will surely break !

is there kind of allignment thats out of adjustment beetween gearbox prop support and diff????

yes mate ive checked,clear as day the prop is turning inside the gearbox end side of the u/j,found another complete prop on ebay,£40 happy days ,knowing my luck with this car the exhaust will disintergrate whilst trying to remove it..........
