Bump! Still doing it, occasionally they work for a bit but more often than not they don't! Does anyone know where the lights earth to? Is there any wiring through areas that it might break with age (i.e doors)?

Thanks Boydie - rears are also doing the same (flicker but not coming on), and the fuse under the bonnet is fine. Interestingly, they started working when I used it on Saturday but are back to playing silly buggers again now.

Sorry should have said, that is where my foot has been as I took the pic after driving. All that was there originally was the big round circle, it doesn't have a coolant smell to it, looking up it the only thing above is the vent, but likewise, I've no idea how water would get in there!

Definitely not shoes, it was dry this morning when I left it. I think for the amount of water there the shoes would also have to have been dropped in a bucket, it's soaked through the matt!

Definitely sounds like the clutch, mine went at about 55k, previous owner had lived in London so I assume it was stop start traffic...my wallet didn't particularly appreciate it going so early !
