If the golf is dsg will make a big difference but do also remember 300bhp is a lot of power so 30-40-50 bhp difference in cars over 300+ isn't a massive amount on the road as much as lower powered cars for instance my car is suppose to be 360bhp but I wasn't pulling away much from 310bhp skyline...
