As Pointed out by 45bvtc, I had the same problem when I fitted Q7 rims onto the Q5. I went with 245/45/20 as the sizing was the best I could get against the original 235/55/19. They have been absolutely spot on not needing any spacers or anything.
just stayed lit :( read quite a few things online now relating to aftermarket HIDs leading to premature failure with this outcome but mine are factory fitted so I guess it’s just been funny timing!
Ordered a module so hopefully it works!
Tried it and it comes back as completed OK, no faults shown. No faults on BCM and I had the BCM removed for about 10 mins but still no better.

found this which sounds the same only I don’t...
I’ve checked the wiring on both sides. The indicator wire is permanently live so I’m 100% it’s not the headlight it’s self. It’s coming from the car side.
pin 9 (black/green) is indicator wire on the drivers side and pin 9 (black/white) is indicator on the passenger side. It’s permanently 12V...
The light is on static no matter if the car is on or off, and the rest of the indicators work fine with no faults on the car.
As I say, I have checked the wiring back from the headlight and the power is coming from from the harness, which when disconnected from the BCM drops to zero.
I don’t...
Hey chaps,
Drivers side front indicator has began to illuminate continuously today after washing the car. Now first thoughts were water in the wiring etc but I’ve checked the headlight and it’s not that, I then checked the wiring to the headlight and it had 12v on the indicator wire. Having...
I know I’m bringing up a very old thread here but after unlocking the retainer, how do I remove the pin as pulling doesn’t do anything on its own.
Thought I’d put it this thread since it’s already got very useful information.
cheers!
Yes, I just had to test my findings before posting them.
So for the wireless charger, the following is required to enable it to work;
Pin 1 is permanent live
Pin 2 is switched live
pin 4 is ground
As for the amplifier in the rear;
pin 1 is permanent live
Pin 2 is ground
Pin 3 is switched...
This is the 6 pin out for the wireless charger yeah? Thanks very much. Because I won’t be going to any existing car terminals, what is positive and negative terminals? I expect pin 1 is positive since it goes to terminal 30, but I guess pin 4 is negative at terminal 31?
Also, one other question...
It’s ok Ash I found the plug I need but I can’t for the life of me find the wiring diagram for the wireless charger. Does anyone have a pin out?
cheers!
p/n is 81a035502
Ash, I’m in the process of fitting one of these to my 8P (yes... including the antenna!) but the only thing I’m lacking is the Bluddy harness connector, could you please share the part numbers for the plug I need? I can’t find it anywhere :/
thanks!
New radiator, clutches, pipework and filters as well as a complete flush and oil/coolant flush.
To be honest its still not 100% but I believe that might be down to the emission fix software causing mayhem with clutch control so were going to get that reverted. We were extremely lucky that the...
For sale I have a glove box to be removed from my RS3 which comes complete with the AMI box for connecting the likes of iPods/iPhones to an RNS-E head unit. Glove box is in great condition other than a small bit of felt peeling on the inside and will not include the Quattro badge.
