Evening, Can anyone local to Merseyside carry out a component protection removal on an airbag module? The original failed on my car (2007 A5), so purchased a replacement with the same part number. It works - although the light is still on the dash due to the component protection. Thanks

Swapped over the sensor yesterday - the same fault codes persist. Looks like its a DPF removal this weekend.

Just another quick question - Will inoperable radiator fans prevent a DPF regeneration from being carried out? The DPF is registering 52% - so unsure as to why a regeneration fails. I carried out a scan of the other modules and have found both radiator fans do not work.

Just a quick update - I ordered a replacement sensor with the same part number. £35 - worth a go, before removing the DPF entirely.
