Ive had a couple of people say to me that it could be an interior problem opposed to it being external. The only thing that's making me think otherwise is the fact that the noise seems much louder when I have a window open. Obviously made sure everything was fixed down properly on the boot...

You'll have to forgive my lack of mechanical knowledge haha! It's a diesel, and they're straight cut, and 2.5" I think? Just slightly annoys me that I've cleaned them up and they have marks/stains around the outside, don't get me wrong it's a massive improvement from what they looked like before...

I did what you suggested, had to go to HELLfords to get the megs wheel cleaner, and I'm fairly happy with the results. I did struggle with just the scouring pad so I used a pointed wheel cleaner to get the hard to reach places. Didn't come up quite as well as yours did but I'm happy nonetheless...

Just been out and bought Autosol Metal Polish - Is this all you used along with a scouring pad? I've been going at it for upwards of 45 minutes and not seeing a great difference yet. Is perseverance the key here?
