My opinion is: I am traveling a lot with my bike and for me this is the easiest way to transport the bike. It is steady and quit easy to put on and off. Another things is that it doesn't get so dirty as it would be transporting the bike behind the car.

I have retro fitted foot well lights and i taped into the 7.5 shown in the picture. This turns on when you unlock car and the light goes on. It stays on until you turn off the ignition and lock the car. Its really good for wiring extra interior light. Maybe its useful for your case.

Thou i wanted a more aggressive stand.I think its a bit too far. I also agree with the color. I have the original 10 spoke audi wheels. And think the color of them matches better with the red car. But i want a more aggressive stand. Maybe Spacers will give me the right look ?

If you want it this low you have to have the roof bars trough the roof box. And then you can't get it higher. But if you buy a roof box that you mount on top of the roof bars it goes a bit higher. It's many different bars and boxes ☺
