    If you were up for it, you could mask off the wheel and leave the chrome exposed then sand the chrome back a little with light sand paper then spray it with Platicote, and then chrome spray paint followed by 2-3 coats of clear lacquer? Lot of work, but still most likely cheaper than a new...
