    Hi there. I have a faulty EDC/ which stopped the injector pump from working. on a 2.5 v6 a4 2003. Diesel bob is the guy to recon that but I cannot find a mechanic to remove and refit and ensure its set up. can you help? based in West Midlands. I am able to arrange the vehicle to be sent for the work.

    Plz help regarding my AKN 2.5 V6 '02 Passat after Auto to 6speed manual transmission swap
    The adaptation code for manual trans. (03012) is accepted but the car won't start:
    2 fault codes (01318 ) and (18034)
    Put auto trans code again (03011)
    Car starts in limp mode, Max 3000rpm
    Does VP44 have to be flashed to manual trans too?
    I'm really lost.

    I don't know him personally, but I can tell from his posts that he is an honest person. He probably got caught up in Romania and it will probably take a while until he gets back. But I'm sure he'll be back. I need him too :with an 2.5 tdi)

    Just a heads up...Chris has disappeared since taking a £500 deposit off me for work he was to carry out on my A4 cab. From what I can gather he's back in Romania so just be very wary about sending any money over should you manage to get in touch with him. If you do manage to get in touch can you please forward the details of the method you managed to contact him on.

    Hi Chris, I spoke you to back in November regarding VWgolf 58 plate, that needs a cam belt and water pump change. Was slightly busy at the time and couldn't arrange to bring it in.     hi,sorry to hassle you,as far as i can tell you are the only person to have done what i´m halfway through.
    a 1.9tdi(afn motor into a b5 2.5 tdi long story short i had a 98 a4, 1.9 great engine, rust, rust free 2.5 q avant, but 500,000 kms, oil leak from one of the heads and due belts and pump. what do i need to do to connect the engine harness to the car

    You need to swap engine wiring loom and code the clock set to a 4 cyl...

    cheers, I installed the motor compete with engine loom, the white plug not compatible and the red has the wires laid out differently. as i have a complete donor car i decided to swap the loom behind the dash that plugs into the engine harness and the clocks, key chips. theory being its a guaranteed success. how did your conversion drive by the way? and did you use both intercoolers??

    Hey man, I was hoping I could get some advice. I own a 2001 C5 AKE that needs cams, rockers, etc. I've found a set of used roller heads with solid cams for 700euros. Not sure of the engine code but they are stamped 059L. I could send you pictures if you'd like.
    Should i get these roller heads, or go with the kolbenschmidt kit for roughly the same money?

    I would fit new cam roller heads if I were you however they are not bullet proof with the hollow cams. It makes sense to just get the koblenshmidt cam kit as it doesn't involve ripping the engine apart and you save on head gaskets, head bolts and the like...you end up spending a lot more than you anticipated when you decide to rebuild as opposed to just swapping a whole engine in !     Hello Adam. Just wandering if I could ask a question about a vp44 diesel pump?
    After reading about the pumps and their faults, I'm Looking at an inspection, rebuild and replacement ecu. If the ECU is replaced, can it plugged back in or does it need some sort of coding? If so, Is this a difficult job and how much might it likely cost?
    I'm in south west wales so can you recommend any good guys?

    Hi there, to do a good job I would say get someone like dieselbob to fully rebuild your injector pump. The pump wears internally and sometimes it's better value for money to rebuild entirely !

    Hi adamss24 i have a 2002 audi a4 2.5tdi aym which needs the cam belts doing+stat+pump how much would it be to do this job if you can. many thanks in advance

    Hi Chris, im in a bit of a situation here..would you be available at some point this week to do a cambelt job on A6 AKE? Front will be off, coolant drained and ready to access the belts. I got the parts ready too, Contitech belts etc, just picking up a water pump tomorrow morning in Leatherhead. I live in Reigate RH2 8QZ. Many thanks, Isaac Marques

    Hi Adamss24, don`t know if you remember me I sold you a black audi a4 2.5tdi Quattro avant a few years back now, it was on W reg(2000) full black leather, had the SRE racing clutch fitted also !

    Just need some advice on another audi a6 2.5tdi Quattro I have with 180 hybrid and PP683 nozzles, If you dont mind giving me a call on 07533607417 to have a quick chat at your convenience.

I am wondering is it possible to fit a sh pump to these, or even fit an edu to my original pump? BTW it went on the way from an expensive MOT

    You can get the same part number pump and swap it over- no programming required. Please read how to set engine and pump at tdc as to avoid prolonged cranking which will kill the starter...

    Long story short, I have ** my injection pump. I currently have the AFB engine with AFB ecu. Does an injection pump from AKE will fit and work on my car?

    The AKE ecu is different however early pre 2000 injector pumps on AKE were without the extra immobiliser in the ECU and worked without requiring programming however i dont know if they work as a swap on AFB engine with the old MSA15 ecu. I used AKE pumps with AFB ecu without bother on tuned projects but that's another story ! Regards,

    hi - I would be over the moon if I could speak to you regarding my 05 2.5 v6 tdi (BDG ENGINE 100,000 miles) its had a full recon injection pump,.. it does run but pours out with white smoke and just doesn't sound well when its idling. injectors have been checked and are ok, compression is ok. timing has been checked and apparently its ok?? dunno what to do now..

    Hi, as per our conversation, please get your car to me to read the map and see how much fuel i can get from the pump so i can tune your map as per your hardware. As i mentioned i offer 4 stages of power ranging from 200 Bhp up to 400 Bhp ! So if it's s4 performance with diesel economy you're after then i am your man ! Regards,

    Hi Jon, are you sure the crank seal is leaking ? Had many, many v6 and the crank seal was still good even with high mileage engines. I would say about £250 labour. It's a good thing to do clutch and flywheel at the same time...

    Hi, sorry, just seen the post. £250 for a set of 6 injectors... The needle lift sensor on it's own sells for over 150 quid as it's quite a common failure...
