Correct, just come to a stop and no matter how steep the incline there's no need to do anything to stop the car rolling, then just pull away as normal. A little thing but so useful.

I had an A5 TDI 170 fwd and the wheel spin on that was terrible, even coming off a damp roundabout in 3rd, and it used to tramline everywhere. The difference when I got my 4.2 S5 Quattro was incredible, no tramlining at all and not once did I get it to wheel spin in spite of some very spirited...

From my own experience, make sure the clutch doesn't have to be buried into the bulkhead to start the engine or that it's not too heavy, both signs the clutch release bearing is on the way out.

Overall I like it apart from the non-retractable navigation screen and the shape of the grill but I could learn to live with the screen and wouldn't see the grill while driving. Does anyone know when the new sportback will be released?

Absolutely love mine, it's an 08 with 53k on the clock. Gets lots of admiring looks as I rumble around town, is awesome away from the lights but is also a very relaxed long distance cruiser and will pull cleanly from 1k revs in any gear and howls when nearing the redline. The only downsides are...

My son's 3 series displays the scrolling text all the time but I don't have dab in my S5 so don't know about the Audi unit.

I may be wrong but I always thought the artist and track name scrolled round with the DJ's name and some other useless info and that this was broadcast by the station itself so can't be altered.

I had 20" with 30 profile on my S5 and the ride was never bone jarring so I would hope the 19s on the A4 would be at least as good.

What can I say, you have a very special car there and have done an awesome job creating it.
