I have been out polishing today and spotted a patch of peeling lacquer on the offside rear quarter just above the wheel arch (07 b7 a4 cabriolet). Not sure how long its been like it, I haven't noticed it before but have only had the car 5/6 months.
I don't think the Audi paint...
Thanks everyone for the info on here. Still an absolute PITA to do though. I ended up taking the strip out of the boot as both of the screw were rounded off. I was able to dremel a line through the screws and get a big flathead in there to open them up, I did try an impact driver on it first...
Afternoon chaps.. just stumbled on this thread fortunately. I am thinking about chopping in my A4 B7 Cabriolet (2.0 tdi - 2007) for a DTM. Seen one in silver which looks pretty nice, with Nav, and all the other standard bumph with about 64k on it for £9.7k. Do you think that sounds like a decent...

Bl**dy hell.. really?! The book value on mine is apparently 9.5k (which I found out afterwards..) so 1.5k margin when I bought it went to the dealer.. Offers of 7500 would make me want to give the guy making the offer a noogie..

I was looking at a 2.0 tfsi on 07 plate with 52k for 11.5k..
I bought my 2.0 tdi with 65k on 07 plate for 11k!
Makes me feel a little bit upset :-(
