Replacement key querie?

Wheres best to try for this type of key? Or can you use newer type of keys for the B5? Also, i assume it needs coding, who does this appart from Audi?

Key still works but alarm buttons need to be pressed hard to get them to work now. Cheers.

Car is a 97 on a P. Will have to get back to you on the central locking pump no. need to have a look. Do you do replacements?

just trying to work out if you can use a flip key as a replacement as ive never seen that type for sale new/uncut
if your pump p/n starts 8L0 then flip key remote part should work but immo transponder (chip) was changed around 97 if you have a seperate immo box then youd probably need a new chip for the key part as these are use once only, if you have the immo built into cluster you should be able to reuse chip in a used key
