Post #19 before that one arrived! Shocking!

I think The Life of Brian should join the list (but I'm with you that the Grail has precedence)

And...

The Blues Brothers
Pulp Fiction
Full Metal Jacket

Post #21 before those! Particularly Full Metal Jacket - that is a brilliant film!

If I spent some time thinking about it I could probably come up with a few I'd add to the list but it seems they're likely to appear anyway. A couple for now...

The Hunt for Red October
...and perhaps to a slightly lesser-extent, Crimson Tide - I guess tense situations in nuclear submarines are entertaining to me...

Regards,

Rob.

I'll second those, Red October & Crimson Tide were brilliant movies, with Sean & Denzel, very good acting & also Mr Law & Order himself in Full Metal Jacket

Tron & Bladerunner, cult movies, love them everytime I watch.

& I know I'll get heckled but Monsters Inc makes me laugh my **** of, its brilliant.

can also add these:

No country for old men
There will be Blood
The Departed
Blood Diamond
American History X
Trainspotting
The last samurai
Fearless

Lethal Weapon (all of them)
The Day after tomorrow

A few that I can think of

I'm suprised no ones mentioned Topgun/Days of Thunder, Indian Jones, surely these are classics, or maybe we have just watched them to death and they are always on TV over Xmas to qualify?

Mississippi Burning - Brilliant film!!

Just watched Eastern Promise and highly recommend it.

Anyone seen the new Star Trek film? Any good?
