Very cool, but only as a track car. Use it for what it was designed for...

Sub zero!!! :)

I've been out in some crazy cars, but the MA Developments Escort Cosworth was the fastest.

Such a brutal look to them aswell.

no car was more wanted in the late 80's and early 90's than a escort cozzy, great to look at sounds good and is very quick with a lot of tunning avaliable for them aswell.

I normally hate Fix Or Repair Daily's but this is one that i would happily own. A cool car

Still expensive and a standard one is like rocking horse ****, cool I think.

sub zero, I love these cars !

The older of us on this site will appeciate it, but the younger may not!!!

In it's time an all time great ... today well ?

I think it still holds it own today tbh !

Sub-zero. The first truly desirable Ford and a performance icon! Saw one while out on Saturday night and they still have real presence.

Always thought they're sub zero!! :icon_thumright:

Definatly sub zero. Legend cars.
Any thing with a RS badge is cool in my books.

My favourite (and the only one I've been in TBH).............

Nearly bought one a couple off years back. Found the steering lacking and the engine very laggy and compared to other cars around that where around at that time even the Scooby and the integrale Evo that I eventually bought. It seems to fall short off the mark so to speak but they do look nice even for a Ford.

One of my best mates has one, it's nothing but trouble and a bit of a pig to drive on the road. But my god does it look the nuts, the reaction it recieves from people in the know (and unfortunately chavs), aswell as it's road prescense is awesome. It's darn quick and makes a lovely noise too (big turbo version). I also have to say relatively east to work on aswell. Most of all it's rare, and therefore holds its money extremely well. SUB ZERO from me!

No britiish ford could ever be cool

they arnt actually british jim the escort cosworth has its own specific shell and the cars were built by karman in germany

This is the best one i have ever seen TBH anyone who has followed Gumball would have seen him write it off and will come back built better than ever :) and clocked at 194mph which is impressive for something that has the dynamics of a house brick. This was it before Gumball/

This is the progress so far during the rebuild

Sorry, bit late to the party. I almost bought one many years ago, great car at the time. I saw one last week on the road, it does look a bit dated now.

Having owned two of these fine beasts (small & large turbo) I can say they were the best cars Ive ever owned. My wallet and missus would not agree tho! The cossies will still embarrass a lot of the new jap stuff with turbo's & 4wd.

I spent fortunes on em both and I wish I could still afford the running costs now to buy another.. 7 years back I didnt have wife, kids, mortgage, etc... I'll wait patiently for mid life crisis...

Bit late guys i know, but i have to disagree with Serpico here with his comment on Jap 4x4's with turbos, not in standard form it wouldnt..... Ive had one of these, i wanted one for ages, gorgeous looking with such a presence, as the old addage goes, 'never meet your heroes', not a truer statement for me, disappointed with it in its entirety, got fed up with the fcucker braking down, got lashed by every single scoob and evo i ever challenged......glad to see the back of the thing!!!! IMHO merely a Sierra in frock, looks good though.:sob:
