A friend of mine owns a civic type r,he has come to realise under heavy braking or braking from speed the front passenger wheel has a lot of vibration coming through it and seems to in sense shake,he has had discs and pads changed twice!so could it still be the possibility that the disc is warped?any help much appreciated

i would ask what sprt of discs he has on there? people tend to say to steer clear from drilled discs as they tend to warp very easily.

When the discs where changed where the hub faces given a good clean and the backs of the discs? As if either of these have dirt on them, it can cause the disc not to sit flush and square with the hub and then you can get vibrations. It is possible that the hub itself is warped, although I would have thought unlikely.

If you can feel a vibration through the wheel it could be wither side.?

its evident its the passenger side you can tell by the rumbling sound,maybe so not a vibration through the steering wheel but a vibration from the passenger side wheel

I can't think of many off hand but things like contact with a kurb MAY damage the hub. You would need to check the run out of the face of the hub to be sure. It may also be worth checking the run out of both discs to see if either are warped. If there is no run out then you need to go looking elsewhere for the cause of the vibration.
Has he made sure the wheels are balanced?

When a disc brake gets warped it will 'wobble' if you like on the hub. The wobble is the run out. I found this

Which I know is for a Ford Scorpio but shows how to check the run out. It would also be worth using the dial gauge direct on the hub face to check the run out of the hub itself. Hope that helps, and didn't just confuse you.
