Hello and New Wheels, ideas for Silver Avant......

As the post above please gents.

Been lurking on here for a while, only reading upto now, and got myself a 54 plate Avant 130 Sport in 'Lake Metalic Silver. Will have to got the hosting sorted before posting some pics.

I will be getting a new set of 18's and would like some ideas...

I do like the RS6's but feel that too much silver is an overkill, got the alu window surround. I like gunmetal but would prefer something in between, don't want to go much bigger as it's my daily drive and I drive a bit on the continent - some like the comfort of 18's!!!!

Lets see some gratutitous rim shots!

because of the lines of the b6 and its nice curvs i went for some nice curvy dished wheels.

Would agree jase. I've kept this image too. Not sure what the bodykit is, but suits it marvelously...

The S-Line Avant has got to be the best looking (sorry!) estate on the road, period. It's a shame the new A6 Avant isn't as aggressive...

YY54 - how about just spraying your RS6's grey ? Have a look on A4mods.com, there's a few sprayed RS6's shown on there and look fine. Would just have to be careful about kerbing, as they'd look a right mess after...

Anthracite the Rs6's as stoaksey says, they look better in that colour anyway.

Mostly yanks but some nice ones. (yanks seem to love split rims wi rivets an i think they are awful on an a4, theyre for jap iron!)

Speechless!! This is one of the very best I've even seen. So perfect. Too many RS6, RS4 and A8 wheels everywhere. Too many fakes everywhere. This is one of a kind.

I say go for this or BBS wheels where you can get cheap from eBay.

LOL those are likely fake lambo gallardos mate, the originals are almost the price of the car! Loads of folk have those too, just not as common as the others

Cheers Evil, I thought so too thats why I havnt changed them yet, I think they go well with the Red, they look pretty well on silver too.
Hey I like the A8's also but suit Black Paintwork IMO.

Quality alloys, Ive always loved the BBS but so expensive.

I saw wheels called dotz at halfrauds, looked uber sweet. I need 19's for my motor, not sure what to get tho. I like RS6's, RS8's, anything slab sided.

Gonna get spacers too, to bring the wheels right out to the edge of the arches.#

I like a fat ****.

Thats what Im doing with my New alloys Evil, What mm you going for, Im thinking 10mm for mine, mind you, depends of offset of your wheel first dont it!

The yanks over on Audizine say I need something to compliment my Fat *** too,lol! Had some real good feedback about my car from them but looking at some of the A4's they have over there, mine looks outta place.

im thinkin of of 15-20mm but will have to measure the gap first, dont want no rubbing on the arches eh.

The more I look at the kits available to the more I like the ottinger and reiger kits over everything else, I think the yanks go ott wi the widebody kits. I luv the audi look of short window height and deep sides. Prolly gonna go with either rs8's, 6's or something similar style in a brand-name non oem wheel.

On offsets I reckon 10 to 20mm wouldnt make a huge difference in any bad way, but would look superb packed out no matter what the wheel type was.

mine are sat on the very edge of the top lip on a et of 35 with a 20mm hub centric spacer

the fronts have 10mm's and need bringing out a lot more.

i want the edge of the tyre to be sat on the lip so i reacon another 10-15mm is needed on the rear of mine

its an oettinger front bumper like juss said but the rear is s-line and the sides are another make i cant remember which though. the oettinger front bumpers are about 750 quid !
