It’s great fun tracking the boat …… amazing information on the internet. Hope you car is on it. Out of interest, how long did it take from leaving the factory to being on the boat ?

It is. I’ve been watching boats in the hope it was on one of them since I was told it’s left the factory. It’s 6 weeks today since I was told. Dealer thinks it will be at the UK port tomorrow so may not be on the City of Rotterdam but I live in hope!

There is another coming to the UK today but that’s going to Shearness and I was told mine was going to Grimsby.

You maybe lucky. I think @Jaeger12 s came out of the factory after mine and he’s taken delivery.

I’ve been told that I’m at status 39 on the boat. The only sailing from Emden to Grimsby was last night and due in at 9:30 this morning, it’s currently circling the port entrance so had a great run. Hopefully it was on that ship and I’ll collect next week

When I picked my car up last week the sales manager suggested that I contact Audi UK to ask if there is any compensation for the 18-month wait and missing features on the model. I had a £500 discount because I did not have a 360 camera. I have no rear USB ports. Audi UK has asked for my VIN and they are investigating has anyone else had any compensation?

I have waited 9 months and 18 months previously with Porsche, waiting there was not a problem as you had regular updates, but nothing at all from Audi.
I had hoped that as per the January Audi bulletin that Audi would look at all outstanding orders and make a decision on each , no chance at all, everybody is still in the dark, no communication at all.
I placed my order for a Vorspung SB on 26th May 22 and I have a procurement window on the End of March until End of May due to my RSQ3 VW PCH running out and my investment maturing. VWFS offered to extend my 3 year PCH, but at the same £'s as before and as I did not have a build week it could be 6 months or more of a wait, if it comes at all. So I declined the PCH offer and have had a full refund from Audi.
I also had an Option B, a BMW M240i xDrive on order from aug 22 (Stoke) and this has a delivery date now of June so that has also been cancelled and a full refund received.
Now I am on Option C I am picking up a new BMW M240i xDrive on the 27th March from Shrewsbury , not to the same spec as the cancelled one but very close with Tech pac inc HUD , adaptive suspension, and comfort access.
Good luck with your wait all, I hope they all arrive and you enjoy them. Best David

Picked up today, only had 14 miles on the clock...... maybe they havent tested it properly.... drove 17 miles home, nearly all good, wrong keyring was ordered so awaiting that and requested an additional bag hook for the boot, which they gave me 2 of but didnt fit them... No boot tie down net either, but not sure if I should get this, it has the rest of the storage pack?

there’s a boat arriving at Tyne on the 15/16th ….. I am hoping mine will be on there.

I’m not 100% sure but at a guess I would say Sheerness as that port is closer to where I’m located but that might not mean anything lol. I’ll have to find out

Those emails are as far as I am aware a bit behind the actual progress of the car. If it says it is on the boat then it is already in the UK.

How long it takes from the port to the dealer is a different matter; my original 2018 RS3 spent 10 days at sheerness - this new one I have no idea as Audi don't let us track it! (probably why they did that...).

not compensation as such, but I have been given 2yrs free servicing due to the long wait

Yeh this rings true as the dealer called me yesterday to say the car is already in the UK at Grimsby. Car will be at the dealer in 2 weeks so hopefully I’ll collect it early April

RS3 has arrived, no collection pics as it was delivered, unfortunately the rain also arrived within the first hour so until something resembling sunshine returns there is not much to show.

First impressions, it’s smaller than I remember? Matrix lights are superb, steering wheel feels thin, also very light, noise in dynamic is just about right for me.

More photos & updates will follow, but right now, IT HAS ARRIVED
